Over 10,000 Downloads In Less Than A Month

After having been on the Android Marketplace for less than a month (application went live on December 28th, 2010), the Press TV On Android application has clocked up over 10,000 downloads. Thanks to all those who have been downloading and sharing this app.

The current app is at version 1.35, and is considered as stable and there won’t be so many updated in the next month. But work has already started on the 2.x version and that gives the entire UI a complete overhaul, making it considerably easier to use, and also includes notification, favourite subjects, program integration[1] and a lot more.
Program integration is a feature when the app brings a user’s favourite program/programs directly to them when they are on, so the user can interact with the program. We don’t want to give too much away, but it’s exciting stuff, so stay tuned. The 2.x release is scheduled in 2 months (so around March time).
